For Students

Phi Sigma Phi is an opportunity to enhance your academic and social college experience.

As a smaller house, we at Phi Sigma Phi take great pride in building a family for our members. Our tight-knit brotherhood recognizes each individual, with their specific interests and talents, as an integral piece of the larger whole. This closeness fosters friendships that extend well outside of the fraternal setting and into the future that larger houses often fail to provide. That being said, we still offer all of the benefits of larger houses.

Leadership

We encourage all of our members to pursue at least 1 of our 19 leadership positions in the house. Running for and holding a position develops leadership and public speaking skills while also instilling a sense of responsibility for the success of the house.

Service

Our house regularly engages in philanthropic initiatives to support the greater Madison community and we are always looking for new ideas and groups to benefit. We have been very fortunate to give back to the community we call home.

Academics

Phi Sigma Phi puts forth stern academic requirements and our chapter reciprocates this expectation. We also offer a plethora of academic resources to assist our brothers. Moreover, our national organization awards an academic scholarship to one member of our house every year.

Career Development

As a brother, you gain access to all of our resume-building and cover letter workshops. Moreover, our organization has many connections in the professional world. Alumni brothers regularly seek out current brothers for internship positions in a variety of occupational fields.

Brotherhood

Our house is proud to call itself one of the most personable on campus. Unlike many other houses, you will know all of your brothers on a personal level and they will know you. We truly believe that our brotherhood and commitment to each other is what sets us apart.

Social Life

We strive to provide an entertaining and safe environment for our members. In balance with our commitment to academic excellence, we sponsor fun activities such as road trips to sporting events, group dinners, golf outings, and much more.
