We regularly preach the order of priority to our members. Family comes first, then academics, and finally Phi Sigma Phi. Ultimately, we are an obligatory social opportunity that should not and does not take precedence over one's studies or family commitments. In fact, we encourage members to take time away from the fraternity to focus on these commitments if we feel it is necessary.

Our approach to fraternity life ensures that no member should fall behind in their studies. Through frequent, mandatory grade reports, we can catch issues before they become irreversible and provide members with the resources they need. Whether it's individual class tutoring, scholarship funding, or just a quiet place to focus, our brothers have access to many keys to success.

Despite our relatively recent settling on the UW Madison campus, we offer a number of professional resources and connections. We train our members to become competitive applicants through cover letter, resume, and job fair workshops. Moreover, many alumni, both in Madison and across the Midwest, turn to us when looking for interns or new hires.

Transitioning from high school to college can be a bit of a shock, especially in a large city such as Madison. We at Phi Sigma Phi take pride in assisting incoming students during this period. Our brothers have combined for dozens of years on this campus and love to share their experiences and insights for the educational, social, and health benefits of new members.
